Karen Drucker has recorded 11 CDs of her original inspirational music and has won numerous awards for her volunteer work for performing and producing shows for organizations in need. Karen has been called a master of communicating presence and spirituality through music. She has been a professional comedienne, lead her own band for corporate events, and has been the spokesperson for “Bread and Roses” (performing in convalescent hospitals, prisons, children’s hospitals, etc.). She started her own organization, “Artists ForA Cause,” to raise awareness and funds for organizations in need by producing concerts featuring local entertainers. She has been the music director for 3 different New Thought churches, music director for the UCRS Regional and National Conferences and co-music director for RSI’s Asilomar conference. For her musical contribution to UCRS, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate. She sings,speaks and leads workshops at women's retreats,mind-body & health conferences and various churches around the country. She also performs music for ministers, workshop facilitators, and authors including Joan Borysenko, SARK,Alan Cohen, Mary Manin Morrissey and many others.

As a singer-songwriter Karen Drucker has remained steadfast in her dedication to the arts, defying odds and eventually succeeding at being a musician (by way of being a wedding singer), a musical comedian, and a competitive swimmer. With true artistic spirit, her motivation and inspiration had to come from within. One of her biggest inspirations is her own femininity, which served as fuel to inspire numerous albums as well as a published book. Though it was her drive and the harnessing of her inner power that got her where she is today, Drucker is also sensitive enough to realize how much of her success is due to the loved ones who helped her, be they higher authorities, a backing band, or simply friends and family. In the spirit of a humble artist, she celebrates the universal power of love of her life by sharing it in all forms on this uplifting and inspiring album, appropriately titled Beloved. Her comedian background contributes a certain lightheartedness on songs like “Lighten Up”, a buoyant, sassy number that‚s sure to put a bounce in your step. And her luxurious voice playfully doles out advice with the familiarity of an old friend, gently nudging them to forgive their flaws, and all to a catchy, foot-tapping jazz melody. Drucker’s awareness of other people‚s needs combined with her feminine compassion leaves her unafraid to explore more sensitive subjects such as grief. On the touching “I’ll Light a Candle”, she leads backup singers in a gospel-tinged number that was written in honor of those who died on September 11th. Though written with those victims specifically in mind, the song acts as a balm to anyone in mourning, and provides support through one of the greatest comforts of all music. The title track is an earnest and tender ballad accentuated by simple piano harmonies. It could be a love song or a tribute to God, depending on what the listener hears. Regardless of the subject, you are sure to be moved by the awesome power of love emanating from this album.
