"The songs on this recording honor the lives of two of the most significant peacemakers of the 20th Century
- Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Most of the songs were written in the period of an hour and a half in July of 2006. I could feel their hands on my shoulder guiding the lyrics and melodies, imbuing me with the same vibrant energy
that guided their own remarkable lives. The songs flew from my fingers and found their way onto this CD, a recording I believe to be my most significant to date. More will certainly follow, and that is why I am calling this Volume 1. There are so many more peacemakers that deserve to have their ideas soar on the wings of music, and it is my greatest joy to be a small part of that Divine flow." - James Twyman
"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." - Gandhi
